Sustainable hemp bedding
We're Chicken Mum, a family business born from hard-won lessons in backyard chicken keeping. After losing a beloved hen to respiratory infection caused by dusty sand bedding, and battling mites when using hay as well as experiencing coccidiosis from a wet coop, we discovered hemp hurd as the superior solution. Unable to find quality bedding options for backyard chicken owners, we created Chicken Mum to help others avoid the mistakes we made. Our mission is to provide the best coop materials so your flock stays healthy and happy.
